Rainbow Floral Card

Hello Crafty Folks,

I am back with another card. This is a birthday card for a dear friend! This is a A2 size card. I have used the masking technique.
I stamped the images and heat embossed them with golden embossing powder. Then I masked the sides of the card and just kept the stamped images in focus. Then I coloured the unmasked patch by blending distress inks in rainbow colours. I die cut the front panel. I have adhered golden washi tape to the card base and then adhered the die cut card front. To finish the card I stamped the sentiment and sprinkled a few sequins.
Hopr you like this card. Supplies used are listed at the end.

Floral Card - Hugs

Hello Everyone,

Today I am here with a card where I have tried a new technique, the Spotlight Technique.
This is a technique where only part of the image on the card is in a spotlight. And this is my take on it.

This is a card of size 6.25 * 5 inches. I tried to make a floral arrangement at two corners of the card. Now I stamped these images in black ink, by masking the images where needed. I die cut the card front at the center. Following the Spotlight Technique I decided to colour the images which are in the die cut rectangular portion. Added some shadows to the flower images and then I added glossy accents at the center of the flowers to add some dimension. I have die cut the sentiment in golden colour. Since I did not have a golden colour cardstock, I adhered some washi tape on a cardstock piece and die cut the sentiment. Then I adhered the center portion of the card with a foam and rest of it with white glue, to the card base, Finished the card with sequins and added glitter to the images with a clear glitter pen.

Hope you like the card. Supplies used are listed at the end.

Sparkle! Its your Day

Hello Crafty Folks,

Today I am here with a shaker card. This is a birthday card I made for my friend. For long I wanted to make a shaker card and I am happy to have made one!

This is a A2 size card. I stamped the images and sentiment,  and embossed them on a watercolour paper. Then I coloured these images, did some coloured ink stamping with some of the images in the Stampset. Then I die cut an oval at the center. I also die cut a foam of the size of the front panel of the card to create a shaker card. I adhered the acetate sheet cut in the size of the shaker window and inserted mixed sequins in the window. Finished the card by adhering it to the card base.
Hope you like it. Supplies are listed at the end.

Celebrating You

Hello Everyone,

Today's card is a try at a new technique. This one is for a crafty friend's birthday. Crafty friends are the best as they would not just look at the end result but also appreciate the efforts you put in to create something. Hope my friend likes my attempt at trying something different. So here is my attempt at a no line colouring card.

This is a A2 size card. However the front panel is  little smaller in size. I cut it such that there is some white space visible at the borders. I stamped the images in a very light shade of distress ink Then I coloured the images with Zig Markers. I further masked these coloured images with post it notes and coloured the background with distress ink and splattered some water on the background. I also splattered some black colour with a paint brush to add interest to the background. Then I stamped the sentiment in black ink. I finished the card with adding some golden sequins and adhering the card front to the card base.
Hope you like my attempt at no line colouring. Supplies are listed at the end.

You Are Incredible

Hello Everyone,

Today I am here with a card that I made for my best friend. She has always faced all the challenges, which come her way, very strongly. And I really admire her for this quality. Now that she is going through a tough decision making time, I thought I should cheer her up with a handmade card to tell her that she is Incredible!
Now, about the card. This is an A2 sized card. I adhered a pattern paper to the card base. The front panel has been die cut leaving a little margin on all the edges for the pattern paper to be visible from all the sides. For the front panel, I applied the inks on acetate and smooshed it onto the cardstock. Then I stamped the images and sentiment. Then I die cut the card front. I adhered the die cut piece with a foam tape and rest of the card panel with white glue. I added some sequins to finish the card.
Hope you like the card. Supplies are listed at the end.

CAS Card - Diamond Pattern

Hi Guys,

How are you all doing?? It is monsoon here and its been pouring since past few days! It is wonderful to be at home and craft. So I am here with a simple and quick CAS card.
This is an A2 size, side folding card. I have die cut the card front with stitched rectangle die. I used the diamond pattern stamp and heat embossed it on the card front with silver embossing powder. Then I coloured the diamonds with zig markers with pale pink, sky blue and navy blue colours. Then I die cut the sentiment in black and glued it to the card front. And finished the card with some silver sequins. I have die cut a grey pattern paper with stitched rectangle die and stuck it to the card base and then pasted the card front on this pattern paper die cut.
Supplies are listed at the end.
Hope you like the card. Comments and suggestions are welcome!

You make me smile

Hello Friends,

I am here with another card. I just got my first ever background stamp. Have lots to try with this one and this is the first card I came up with. This is a A2 size card.
I stamped and heat embossed the front panel of the card with white embossing powder. I used the emboss resist technique to blend the distress inks over the embossing  to colour the card front. I also stamped and heat embossed some images. I coloured these images with the zig markers and added some glitter with a glitter pen. Then I die cut a panel and stuck the background image onto it, arranged the flowers on the card front and popped up the sentiment with the foam tape. Finished the card by sticking it to the card base with white glue and topping it with some sequins to add interest to the card.
Hope you like the card. Supplies used for this card are listed at the end.

Celebrate

Hello Lovely People,

I am here today with another card that I made for a friend's birthday, and yes... its the Bokeh Effect again! I just love how this effect makes the simple background so interesting!!
This is a A2 size card. I spread some clear water on the card panel. Then I used the distress inks to give it a water colour effect...just dropped the inks on top of the water and let them blend. I die cut the front panel with stitched rectangle die. I stamped 2 flowers and coloured them with Zig water colour markers (Yayyy!!! my first card with my new possession, the Zig Clean Real Brush Markers). Placed these flowers diagonally opposite in 2 corners.
I also die cut a piece of vellum with the stitched rectangle on the outside and with a oval die at the center. Then I die cut the sentiment Celebrate with a white glitter foam and placed it at the center of the card. I love how vibrant this card looks and the vellum provides some background to the flowers to show off their vibrancy! Then I arranged all the elements and pasted the card front on the card base with white glue. Added a few sequins to finish the card.
Supplies are listed at the end. Do leave your comments. Thank You!

Sending You Hugs

Hello Guys,

I am super excited with this card I have made. It is inspired by a video tutorial I saw on Youtube. This is a super simple card and yet so different. The effect in the background is called the Bokeh Effect. This is a effect which we usually see in photography, where the background is blurred.

Now about the card, this is a 5*7 inches size card. I wet the entire card with clear water using a flat brush. Then I smooshed some distress inks on a acetate and mixed some water to it and then applied it on the card panel. The colours freely flowed and mixed to form a beautiful watercolour background. Now I covered the card front with a circle stencil and applied white pigment ink. Keeping it light at some places and applying pressure to get a dark colour where there are small circles. Then I die cut a rectangle out of a glitter white foam and a sentiment hello out of the same foam. I stamped the small sentiment below the die cut sentiment. I heat embossed a butterfly with white embossing power on vellum, fussy cut it and stuck it on the card front. Then I stuck the card front on the card base with white glue. And finished the card with a few sequins.
The supplies are listed at the end, do leave your comments if you like the card.

Wishing You Happiness

Hello Crafty Folks,

Today I am here with a single layered card. Clean and simple, its size is 5.25* 7.25 inches. This is a very basic card where I have stamped the floral images and water coloured them using distress inks. I added some water to each image and then added the colours, let them flow and mix to create beautiful shading on each flower and leaf. Then I added shadow effect with a light grey sketch pen. This is a good way to add dimension to images in a single layered card. Then I stamped the sentiment. I stuck the card front onto a red cardstock and then pasted it to the card base using foam tape to add dimension. Topped it up with some sequins to add some interest to the card. Hope you like the card.
Supplies used are listed at the end.
